Customers rely on HERE digital map information for use in their applications because of its accuracy, detail and completeness. And they rely on HERE as their trusted collaborator to help them get their location–based products to market as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We are currently looking for a GEOGRAPHIC ANALYST in Nashville, Tennesse
The Geographic Analyst I is a developmental role with mentoring support from the more experienced Geographic Analysts and the Team Lead.  Under direct supervision, the Geographic Analyst I participates in map creation activities within a defined geographic area.  Engages and supports expert communities on map content updates.    
• Plan, schedule and perform field data collection activities as required
• Participate in planning and sourcing of map content
• Ensure accurate representation of real world conditions in the database in a defined geographic area
• Conduct database testing and inspection within a defined area as part of database ownership
• Support map creation efforts with Global Production Operations
• Perform high priority geo-coding updates as required
• Solicits, establishes, trains and sustains relationships with local organizations (“expert communities”) that provide map content updates utilizing a Nokia API
• Participate in projects to develop improved map creation processes
• Participate in local trade group(s) as appropriate
• Bachelor’s degree required.  Degree in GIS/Geography, Science, Technology or related field preferred
• GIS experience is preferred and proficiency in PC software packages including a familiarity with geography encoding
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and in local language of assigned territory
• Ability for spatial orientation (e.g., applying map to “real world”)
• Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods within and outside the area
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
