Title: Assistant Professor, tenure-track.

Summary: East Tennessee State University, Department of Geosciences, invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of karst hydrology/watershed management/hillslope processes utilizing geospatial modeling.  
Knowledge and skills: Highest priority will be given to candidates with expertise in karst hydrology, watershed management, and geospatial modeling.
Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited doctoral program in one of the geosciences fields. Applicants must have at least 3 years experience in teaching at the college level course, including courses in hydrology and geomorphology, and have experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level geospatial statistics. Applicants must show a successful track record of, or high potential for grant-funded research related to hydrology and watershed management in karst topography.  
Preferred Qualifications: The department seeks a candidate with expertise in karst hydrology/watershed management who has demonstrated experience working with regulatory agencies, municipal governments, and community groups. A candidate with field research experience in an Appalachian karst region is preferred.
