Annual Conference (2020)

The in-person meeting for the 2020 Annual TNGIC Conference has been canceled. Thank you for your patience as we have been working through this process.

TNGIC will be hosting an online Zoom - TNGIC business meeting on May 14th 2020, 12:00-1:30 PM Central / 1:00 -2:30 PM Eastern. An online voting request will be sent to the TNGIC 2020 Members (see next paragraph for voting eligibility) on or about April 20, 2020 for secure voting for the 2020 TNGIC Board of Directors Nominees. Voting will end on May 8, 2020. During the online business meeting we will discuss important GIS updates, introduce plans for webinars, announce the newly elected TNGIC President / Board of Directors Members and announce the 2020 TNGIC GIS Champion.

There will be some great "Door Prizes" for those attending the online business meeting. The grand prize will be an iPad Air.

Please check your email for the meeting details and links to join the meeting and to register for the door prizes.

The TNGIC Board of Directors has voted to grandfather all 2019 TNGIC Members as 2020 TNGIC Members. Additionally, anyone who was registered for the 2020 Annual TNGIC Conference will be included in the 2020 TNGIC Membership at no cost. Others who wish to join TNGIC during 2020 will also have that opportunity by using the form located here:

The Fall Regional TNGIC Forums are still planned as follows:

• East - Chester Frost State Park Pavilion, Oct 7-8, 2020
• Middle - Lane Agri-Park, Murfreesboro Nov 18-19, 2020
• West - Memphis in cooperation with MAGIC Nov 12-13, 2020

2021 Annual Conference is planned to be held at Montgomery Bell State Park April 19-22, 2021 - Ray Boswell Conference Chair

I apologize if you have received a cancellation note from CVENT prior to this communication from TNGIC. We have been diligently working on the cancellation process and the actual CVENT initiated cancellation note was sent unexpectedly.

Registration fees paid via Credit Card will automatically be credited back to the card used to make the registration. CVENT has said this could take two weeks for final processing. Registration fees paid via check will be refunded via check from the TNGIC Treasurer and should be mailed in the next few days.

Hotel reservations at Meadowview Marriott using the TNGIC reservation block have been previously canceled. This was done automatically when we previously postponed the event, You should have already received confirmation of cancellation from the Marriott. You will need to contact the Marriott directly if you have not received your confirmation.
